8th grade students are strongly encouraged to have a graphing calculator (T183+ silver edition or higher)

*FYI: Math students are not allowed to employ the use of mechanical pencils of any type in math class.  They are too much of a distraction.  Old-fashioned wooden #2 pencils are required.  Ink is also prohibited.
