    1. Give your feeling a name (example angry, sad, mad, happy)
    1. Where do you feel this feeling in your body?
    1. What color is your feeling?
    1. What temperature is your feeling?

    1. Breathe! Breathe into the place you are feeling your feeling in your body.

    Breathe in for 4
    
    Hold for 4
    
    Breathe out for 4
    
    Hold for 4
    
    Repeat (as many times as needed)
    

    1. Repeat this to yourself or outloud:

    I am safe.  I am OK.  My feelings are sending me a message.  It is okay to feel this way.  I'm leaning into my feelings.  I am safe.  I am OK.
